Taking French courses next year? Choosing to specialize in French? You could be eligible for a $3,000 bursary!

English-speaking Canadian students enrolled in French courses at McMaster are eligible to apply for a $3,000 bursary for the 2025-2026 academic year. 

Full eligibility criteria

• Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
• Have English as the first Canadian official language spoken.
• Have completed your high school studies in an English or non-official language (neither French nor English) institution, and graduated from said institution.
• Be enrolled full-time at McMaster University.
• Take at least 50% of your courses in French.
• Participate in French related activities in the community while receiving the bursary.
